Insurance & Payment
Our practice was in-network with medical insurance for thirteen years before recently moving out-of-network. We no longer will bill services to your insurance company, but we are happy to provide you with a bill so that you can submit for reimbursement for any out-of-network benefits that you have.
We made this transition because for 98% of patients we would evaluate: treatment was a non-covered service. This means the cost was out-of-pocket for patients and we weren’t even able to submit to their insurance for the service to go towards their deductible. For some of our patients insurance would deem the services covered, then months later revoke that decision and surprise our patients for a large bill months into their program. It has become too challenging to work with insurance companies that don’t value the services we provide for our patients.
We ask that you at least come for the evaluation and learn more about your or your child’s visual system. Learn about how these vision struggles may be causing symptoms, impacting school/work performance, or delaying recovery from a neurological event. Our team understands the financial commitment is large, but we hope that you see the value in improving vision for the rest of your or your child’s life.
